Urbanization Manilva Beach can be found on the west Costa del Sol, midway between Marbella and Gibraltar, and just five minutes from the busy marina of La Duquesa.
Far from the madding crowds of Malaga and the built up tourist towns of Fuengirola and Torremolinos this part of the Mediterranean coast still retains its own identity. So if it's a beach holiday that you are after then you are spoilt for choice. There are a wide range of beautiful unspoilt beaches to choose from including the local beach which is within a five minutes walk. Alternatively there are a range of other blue flag beaches close at hand, 2 of the best being La Rada and El Cristo Beaches in Estepona, 15 minutes drive away.
The picturesque port of La Duquesa is just a five minute drive away, and there you can relax and choose from an abundance of bars and restaurants which cater for all tastes and budgets.
Here in Puerto de la Duquesa you will also find boats for hire for pleasure trips or fishing, guaranteed to enhance your stay.
A further five minutes will take you into the village of San Luis de Sabinillas where you will be spoilt for choice as regards bars and restaurants.
Other places of interest locally include the famous playground of the rich, Puerto Banus, just thirty minutes away. Stroll along the harbour and admire the vast array of yachts moored in the harnour or have a bite to eat or an afternoon drink in one of the many restaurants and bars that line the harbour front.
The same distance, but in the opposite direction you will find Gibraltar, which is well worth the visit. Duty Free Shopping, A Fascinating History and the famous Barbary Apes can all be witnessed here. You can even take a dolphin tour out into the bay Of Gibraltar and see the fantastic views over to the mountains of Northern Morocco.
Alternatively a trip to Algeciras (45 minutes drive) will bring you to a bustling port town where you can catch the ferry across to Tangiers.
However, The Costa del Sol is not just about beaches and ports, although you will find them in abundance, its about so much more and this apartment makes an ideal base from which you can explore the natural beauty of the Andalucia countryside. Visit Casares one of the famous "White Villages". Also close by are some old Moorish towns including Ronda with its famous bullring - the oldest in Spain.
For those with a love for golf, directly opposite Puerto La Duquesa you will find the La Duquesa Golf Club, an eighteen hole course, and one of the most reasonably priced along the coast. Fifteen minutes further along the coast towards Marbella is Estepona Golf Club, one of the few remaining, privately owned courses on the coast.
And for those with a slightly bigger golfing budget, twenty minutes west of the apartment is the world famous Valderrama Golf Club, scene of the 1997 Ryder Cup, and the annual Volvo Masters, the 1 million pound traditional last tournament of the European season. Remember advance booking is essential here.
Visitors to the area are truly spoilt for choice. As detailed previously there are many places of interest nearby, to tempt the visitor. However, if its more energetic pastimes you wish to pursue, these too are available.

Just a 45 minute drive away is also the town of Tarifa, a haven for the windsurfing and sail boarding fraternity, and from Gibraltar (as well as some other locations along the coast), you can indulge yourself and take in a dolphin or whale spotting cruise.
All in all there is something to suit everyone, be they shopaholics, walkers, sports fanatics or beach bums.
So enjoy yourself – Youll probably find you havent come for long enough!

There is a serving hatch from the dining area direct into the kitchen which is fully equipped with an oven and hob, plus a fridge/freezer, an automatic washing machine and microwave oven.
The apartment has two bedrooms (one double, one twin), each of which has its own bath/shower room, one of which is en-suite.
Outside there is a terrace, overlooking the gardens and pools, complete with table and chairs for alfresco dining or just sipping on a drink, whilst the kids enjoy the pool.
The apartment also benefits from its own secure underground car parking and lift access.
