This spacious 2 Bedroom Air Conditioned Penthouse Apartment is located on the Pelikan Park Urbanization located between the towns of Estepona and San Pedro on the Costa Del Sol.
Whatever holiday you are looking for on the coast, whether it be exploring, relaxing or sporty you will find Pelikan Park the ideal base from which to plan your holiday.
The complex is situated a 3 minute walk from the Benavista Commercial centre which is home to numerous restaurants bars and a couple of supermarkets meaning that all the essentials for your holiday are virtually right on your doorstep.
The nearest beach is no more than a 10 minute walk away accessed by a footbridge over the main A-7 road. Here you will find more choice of restaurants and chirinquitos too.
However, to fully explore what the coast has to offer, we recommend that you have a car. The blue flag beaches of Estepona are only a 10 minute drive away along with the prestige Puerto Banus with its magnificent yachts and fashionable harbour. The world famous Marbella is only 15 minutes away with its diversity of activities from shopping to go-karting and water sports found at Funny Beach.
Further afield you will find the old white washed villages of Mijas and Caceres and the highly recommended Ronda, home to the oldest bullring in Spain and also breathtaking views from its famous gorge, all reachable within the hour.
Local trips are also organised in the Benavista Commmercial Centre to these places and others including Seville, Granada and Cordoba.
For the sporty types there are numerous activites along the coast. Golf is a major attraction for the coast and for this reason is home to a large number of quality golf courses, the nearest being El Parasio, situated just 2kms from the complex. The Benavista Padel and Tennis Club has just opened at the Benavista Country Club and allows you to either play tennis with friends or take some lessons to improve your play. There is a quality horse riding stables situated 15 minutes down the coast along with watersports( including excellent wind and kite surfing found at Tarifa an hour away).
For the kids the Selwo Safari Park is located no more than 10 minutes drive from the apartment. Here you can take a safari jeep around the park experiencing Tigers, Bears and rhinos plus many more exotic animals. Fuengirola Zoo is no more than half an hour away as is the water park found in fuengirola.
The Selwo Wildlife park is located in Benalmadena, where youll find seal lions and dolphins. Also here is the Fun park of Tivoli World home to rides, attractions ans shows, open until the early hours in the summer.
Plus there is also the beach which is free and Pelikan Park has its own communal swimming pool with separate kids pool.
The apartment itself has 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, a lounge, terrace, kitchen and utility room.
The lounge has a three piece suite, tv, DVD and video and CD Player. The community has its own satelitte system with a range of english channels including skysports, news and movies. There is a dining table seating 6. From the lounge you can access the terrace which overlooks the communal swimming pool. There is a table and chairs here along with a barbecue for those summer evening bbqs. Theres also a fixed awning here giving shade from the hot afternoon sun. From here, via a spiral staircase, you can access the large roof terrace which affords spectacular mountain views along the coast. This is one of the main features of the apartment and has access to all day sun for those sunworshippers.
The main Bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and an ensuite batroon with bath, basin and shower.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes and access to the 2nd batroom which has a shower. This is not ensuite.
The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons youd find in your own kitchen from oven hob and microwave over to a dishwasher. Off the kitchen youll find the utility room with the washing machine for the apartment
Other features of the apartment include that it is fully airconiditioned with both hot and cold.
